Day 01: KATHMANDU
Arrival in Kathmandu, meet and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: KATHMANDU
Full day Bird Watching Tour in Phulchowki.
Day 03/04/05: ROYAL BARDIA NATIONAL PARK:
Fly KTM-Nepalgunj and drive to Royal Bardia National Park (92 kms – 2 hours).
Upon arrival at Bardia, Transfer to Tiger Tops Karnali Lodge is built right on the park boundary and is built out of local materials in the Tharu village style - simply outstanding. Its 12 double rooms with attached bathrooms offer comfortable accommodation whilst the central dining area and a well stocked bar provide an ideal setting for dining and relaxing. There is electricity at the Lodge and there are fans in all the rooms. Elephants used for game rides are kept at the Lodge, allowing up-close experiences with these wonderful animals.
Bardia National Park, Tiger Tops Karnali Overlooking the snow-fed waters of the Karnarli River is one of the most enchanting jungle camps in Asia - Tiger Tops Karnali Tented Camp. Comfortable tented accommodation consists of twin beds, separate showers (hot/cold) and modern jungle toilet facilities. Tiger Tops is also equipped with dinning rooms and bar and Nepali and Western cuisine is served around the campfire. Tented accommodation is closed May - Sept.
Activities include nature walks, elephant back safaris, landrover game viewing, boat trips, jungle treks, birdwatching excursions, slide shows and the services of experienced naturalists. From both the Lodge and Tented Camp you can visit the local Tharu Villages to add a cultural aspect to your wildlife experience.
Poised above the vast grasslands between the jungle and the river and just a stone’s throw (6 kms) from the Lodge, is Tiger Tops’ idyllic and tranquil Tented Camp.
Each luxury safari tent is complete with a twin or double bed and an en suite bamboo bathroom with piping hot water.
From the Tented Camp you can explore the surrounding jungle and grasslands on elephant-back, dug-out canoe, on foot or by jeep, in the safe hands of our expert guides, some of whom have over 30 years of experience.
Nepali and Western cuisine is served at the Tented Camp and the fully-stocked bar stays open until the last person goes to bed - enjoy a drink on the elevated verandah, watching rhinos graze beneath you and the sun setting over the plains.
At Tiger Tops Tented Camp individual interests are encouraged and programs are designed after discussion with every guest.

Day 06/07: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK:
2 overnights at: TIGER TOPS JUNGLE LODGE OR TIGER TOPS THARU VILLAGE OR AT TIGER TOPS TENTED CAMP
Drive from Bardia to Royal Chitwan National Park. This morning we will embark on the day-long drives, eastwards towards the Royal Chitwan National Park. Although long, it is a very scenic drive that will take us across the terai, through numerous small Nepalese communities and across several ranges of forested hills, including the Churia range.

Day 08/09: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (GAIDA WILDLIFE CAMP or Similar)
Transfer from Tiger Tops Tented camp to Gaida Wildlife Camp. Gaida Jungle Lodge is situated overlooking the Dhungre River. Thirty twin-sharing bungalows are built in a semi circle around a central dining Restaurant. Each has a sweeping view of the river & the grass land across with all standard furnishings and a spacious balcony. Attached toilet and shower facility using solar power for hot water are available. An outdoor garden and a well stocked bar provide a very comfortable atmosphere to stretch out and enjoy the surrounding jungle and even the towering Himalayas up in the north on clear days.
In order to maintain the jungle atmosphere and balance with wildlife, neither the Jungle Lodge or Camp are provided with electricity. Candles and Kerosene lanterns will be placed at your door during the night.
Day 10/11/12: KOSHI TAPPU WILDLIFE RESERVE
It is a long day’s drive on the east-west highway from the Royal Chitwan National Park to Koshi Tappu. Although tiring, it is also a fascinating journey. Driving through the 'terai' of lowland Nepal we will pass through a variety of villages and towns giving a unique insight into the Nepalese way of life. By making an early start we will aim to reach KOSHI TAPPU WILDLIFE RESERVE by late afternoon from where we will transfer to KOSHI TAPPU WILDLIFE CAMP or Similar.
Day 13: KATHMANDU
Transfer to Biratnagar airport and fly BIR-KTM. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or shopping.
Day 14: Final departure from Kathmandu
