Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve (175 sq. km.): Spot-billed and White Pelican, bar headed Goose, Comb Duck, Falacated Duck, Beer’s Pochard, Red –crested Pochard, Cotton Pygmy Goose, Gull –billed, Caspian & Whiskered Tern, Brahminy Kite, Pallas’s Fishing Eagle, European Black vulture, Greater Spotted Eagle, Black-necked Stork, Black Stork, Ballion’s Crake, Ruddy Crake, Water Rail, Swamp partridge, Hodgson’s Bushchat, Jerdon’s Bushchat, Great Reed Warbler, Smoky Warbler, Straited Marsh Warbler, Yellow-bellied Prinia, Black- faced and Little Bunting.
Greater Adjutant, Indian Skimmer and Watercock are summer visitor to Koshi.
