It is a difficult walk from PitamDeurali to Forest camp.
Day 06: Trek to Low Camp (3,035M / approx. 4 to 5 hours)
Trekking today and onwards shall introduce you to the higher elevation which requires us to proceed carefully and steadily. The higher altitude you are introduced into, the beautiful vegetation you get to experience. Along the steep and challenging trail in the beginning, you shall have gradual climbing trail as you proceed further in the path. The flora changes into the cloud forest with the tree ferns, mosses and lichen and other hardier trees. Along the trail and through the natural ‘windows’ in the dense forest we have the glimpses of Hiuchuli and sharp traverse towards Annapurna South. While you have Modi River on your far left, ahead you shall be accompanied by the forest till you slowly reach to the Low Camp to have the marvelous view of the ever-beautiful Fishtail Mountain. Overnight in Low Camp.
Day 07: Trek to High Camp (3,590M / approx. 4 to 5 hours)
Another slower trek today as you need ample of time for your body to adjust to the increasing altitude in the trail. Further along the ridges, through the occasionally grassy landscape leading towards the Mardi Himal, you march into the alpine vegetation from the tree line. You left the ManjhiDanda near the Low Camp and move past the NanggeDanda before you reach to the High Camp.
High Camp is a small pasture with couple of lodges which provides awesome view of Annapurna range, the valley of Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal, and the Machhapuchhre Mountain. You shall be enthralled by the view wherein the Annapurna South seems to be a stone’s throw away and Fishtail Mountain even closer. Overnight at High Camp.

We will wake up early in the morning before the sun rises. The plan is to watch sunrise over the Himalayas. We will then return back to lodge where we will be served with our breakfast. The trail heading to Upper View Point is well marked through the grassland involves few steep sections. In overall this is moderate walk, not too easy and not too challenging as well. In summer season this area is full of yaks and sheep along with several yak herder's huts. There are some narrow and steep trails that extensive care is required.
