Day 01: Arrival / Negombo
Transfer via: Flight, arranged on your own
Travel time: Approximately 20 minutes
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by your chauffeur guide; you will be given a 01bottle of wine and then escort to your hotel for check-in time. The rest of the day is yours to relax.
Day 02: Negombo/Pinnawala/Kandy
Transfer via: Private vehicle
Travel time –Approximately 3.5 hrs
Set off from coastal Negombo to experience the inland delights of Sri Lanka. To begin, drop by the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, with a thick skin and a curved trunk. Watching these gigantic wild, semi wild mammals is a lifetime experience. But to those who want to see the tamed and semi wild elephants in close proximity the best place is the “Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage”.
Later our sightseeing tours of Sri Lanka continue to the town of Kandy, Surrounded by greenery and the great Mahaweli River. Kandy is also well known as the center of Buddhism. At your convenience, become acquainted with the city of Kandy, later transfer to your hotel & relax.
Day 03: Kandy
Today’s itinerary starts with the stroll in the Royal Botanical Gardens.
In the early evening, enjoy traditional Kandyan Dancing (5.00-6.00pm), the iconic performing art in Sri Lanka.
Day 04: Kandy - NuwaraEliya (Tea Country)
Transfer via: Train (schedule Peradeniya 12.20 – Nanu Oya 15.50)
After breakfast, transfer to NuwaraEliya by Expo Express Train (subjected to availability). You will get on train at Peradeniya Station reach to Nanuoya Station. (Enjoy a picturesque journey through the mountain, travel through a beautiful landscape & waterfall of Sri Lanka). Upon arrival you will be picked your chuffer guide & Later, transfer to hotel for rest.
Day 05: NuwaraEliya
Day at leisure. You can take your time to stay in hotel or walk around the Downtown NuwaraEliya, this "Little England" town. During the day you will have chance to visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded and you will have a chance to experience the tea picking. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
Optional: (expense at your own )early morning (6-6.30 am)Enjoy an 8km walk in Horton Plains National Park and visit “world’s End”, catch a glimpse of Adam's Peak if the weather allows.
Day 06: NuwaraEliya/Ella/Udawalwe
Transfer via: Private vehicle
Travel time: Approximately.4.5hrs/ Safari time app 3-3.5hrs by safari jeep
From the hills of Nuwara Eliya decend to the jungles of Udawalwe.Once in Ella make a photo stop at Cascading Rawana Water Falls.
Afternoon jeep safari at Udawalawde National park (app 3 hrs ) ,The Udawalawe National Park is the only place where an elephant sighting is guaranteed on every single safari drive. There are around 600 to 700 Sri Lankan Elephants in this wildlife park and it is not unusual to see large herds gather to drink water and feed. In addition to the Elephants there are spotted deer, Monitor lizards, Sambar deer, Wild boar, Common Langurs, Jackals, Toddy cats and the endemic Toque Macaque. The Sri Lankan Leopard has also been sighted here, but unlike in the Yala National Park these sightings are very rare.
Day 07: Udawalwe/Thanamalwila/Udawalwe

Travel time: Approximately 2hrs
Today morning, embark on a village tour and enjoy a lunch prepared by a local village family. We drive about 45 minutes into Thanamlwila Village, located in a rustic area. Here one can observe authentic village life including fishing, wood carving and chena cultivation (the oldest farming system in Sri Lanka). We will have a walking tour of the village and if you are so inclined, you can walk the stairs to the top of one of the ancient temples for a panoramic view of the village. We will have a short walk thru paddy fields and around the village homes. We are invited to a village home for a simple lunch and conversation with the family.
Next Special Blessing for Couple, in Buddhist culture, it is a tradition to blessing a new couple to have successful marriage life, so we will arrange for you as well in a village home, this will handle by an old man in the village.
Before leave the village, you will have a great chance to enjoy short distance cycling/Tuk-Tuk (use villagers) to Village tank & experience a-catamaran ride at the lake. & great place to spot some bird species with your luck walking arround village tank & ideal experience tofeel thye natrure return to your hotel rest of the day free to relax.
Day 08: Udawalwe/Rathnapura/Colombo/Exit
Travel time: Approximately 5hrs
After breakfast, say good bye to Udawalwe & proceed to Colombo, as you leave from Udawalawe why not make a stop in Rathnapura, first you will visit to sea Gem mine, then you will have good idea about gem mining next visit to see Gem museum & Lapidary in Rathnapura (/ Gem Mining / Gem cutting (if you interest you even buy gems) - world famous for its Ceylon blue sapphire.
Upon arrival take a guided city tour to explore Colombo's colonial legacies. The official political and trade capital of Sri Lanka. All the famous shopping arcades are in and around the city, which allows one to have a tantalizing experience in Colombo as it has something to offer every visitor. As a hub of many ethnicities with people from all creeds working together, Colombo is indeed cosmopolitan. .
As all good things must come to an end, later your tour guide will comfortably take you back to the international airport for a safe return journey.
