Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, meet & transfer to hotel. Overnight.
You'll be greeted at the airport by our representative from the company, so look out for our company sign written on a placard after you come out of the exit gate. From there you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu
Full day sightseeing cultural tours in Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath&Pashupatinath. Overnight hotel.
Day 03: In Kathmandu
Full day escorted sightseeing tours to Patan and Bhaktapur.
Day 04: After breakfast drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1952M.)
This road is about 9 hours driving from Kathmandu to Dhunche by private vehicle. The
road goes through the Trishuli Bazaar, which is little bit zigzags before Trishuli& through the Kalikasthan on the way you can see Panoramic Mountain view from the
Kakani like Langtang& Ganesh Himal range and. Overnight Lodge at Dhunche.
Day 05: After breakfast trek to ThuloSyabru (2250M.)
Start to walk being gravel road about 5 Km. and it goes gradually up to the Brabal and
being to the Syabru village. On the way you can see Ganesh Himal, Kerung valley, and
LangtangHimal. Overnight camp at ThuloSyabru.
Day 06:Trek ThuloSyabru to Chandanbari 3350m.
Start to walk towards always steep up to CholangBhanjyang through farming land, Oak
and Pine forest which is very rich for wildlife & Birds. Overnight at Chandanbari.
Day 07:Trek to Gosaikunda (4327M.)
Start to walk to the GosaikundaLake is the site for a great pilgrimage in August - each
Year. The large rock is the centre of the lake is said to be the remains of Shiva shrine and it is also claimed that a channel carries water from the lake directly to the tank at the
Kumbheswar temple in Patan. On the way to Gosaikunda you can see good panoramic
MountainView from Lauribinayak.
Day 08: Gosainkunda to Ghopte
Leaving Gosaikunda the trail moves to Gopte, passing three more small lakes, we reach to Laurebina La, then to Phedi, from where the route drops to a stream and crosses the head of the valley, descending to DupiChaur, with all these ups and downs we make a final ascent to Tharepati, a windy ridge, which stands high at an elevation of 3640m. Overnight stay at the local lodge at Ghopte.
Day 09: Ghopte to Tharepati(3690m)
Leads to the ridgeline of Tharepati. Afterwards we steeply descend through primary rhododendrons. In spring the area is a mass of red flowers, dotted with white and pink. Melamchigaon is a picturesque Sherpa village and you will surely have long chats with its warm and welcoming villagers.
Day 10:Thadepati to Tarkeghyang (2600m)
After breakfast descend down to Melamchigaun which is unique Sherpa village through rhododendron, oak & pine forest. After 3 and half hrs walk we stop for luch at MelamchiGaun and again after lunch we descend down to MelamchiGaunKholaCrossing Over Swing Bridge and then descend up to Tarkeghyang which is another famous village at Helambu and has big monastery, Buddhist monk school.
Day 11:Tarkeghyangto Kakani (1996m)
Today we have bit smooth flatter trail with bit ups and down like wave through the settlement and mixed forest, we will reach Sermathang for lunch which is the other famous Buddhist village and there is Langtang national check point, police post and army troop. Then after walk slow down to Kakani walking through the ridge, will have a better panoramic view.
Day 12:Trek fromKakani to Melamchi& drive back to Kathmandu.
Today is the last day of your trek, it will take approx. 4hrs walk from Kakani to Melamchi and then drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 14: Final departure from Kathmandu.
