Bangladesh can be identified as one of the richest country for bird watching of wild varieties of birds. Being located in the area of Indo-gangetic delta in Bangladesh more than 600 species of birds that are commonly found in the different regions of Bangladesh particularly in the area of (1) Central South West (2) South East West and (3) North East Haor Basin.
But to get a clean picture of birds habitants for an inquisitive bird watcher while in Bangladesh shall have to undertake massive tour program to the forest zone like the Hillforest, Natural Mangrove forest of the Sundarbans and Sal forest. Warblar, Pintail, Goose, Purple, moorhen, Red jungle fowl, Finfoot, jacana, lapwing, Roller, Bee-eater, Munia, crested Bunting Minivet, scarlet minivet, masked Finfoot and so many local & migratory birds.
